We are Camiel and Tamara,

A creative couple from the Netherlands and the proud new owners of this unique Container Villa — a stylish and sustainable hideaway just outside Barcelona.

Our villa is a creative mash-up: a vacation home, a photoshoot location, a haven for Sauna GUS, and an inspiring setting for workshops and (yoga) retreats.

Built from repurposed shipping containers once used in the Port of Barcelona, the villa found its new home in the charming village of Canyelles, just 20 minutes from the airport. Here, we transformed the containers into a modern family house with a bold industrial character and a warm Mediterranean soul.

Inside, it feels contemporary and cozy, with raw textures, natural tones, and creative details. Outside, you’ll find a spacious patio with an outdoor kitchen, a lush garden filled with Mediterranean plants, wild cacti, and rare succulents — and, of course, a refreshing saltwater pool and sauna.

Even on the hottest summer days, the villa stays pleasantly cool.
